Snowpine Lodge consistently receives rave reviews for its stunning location, exceptional service, and luxurious amenities. Guests frequently highlight the comfortable rooms, convenient ski-in/ski-out access, and excellent dining options. While some minor issues with room replenishment and breakfast variety have been noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, particularly for weddings and group events.
my now husband and I just got married here August 29th, 2026! The rooms, the staff, the service, the amenities, everything was absolutely a dream!! We could not have asked for a better wedding weekend, all of our guests were raving about the hotel and the staff the entire weekend!! everyone had the best time and we are so grateful for everything snowpine did for us. They made us a sign with our last name and left it in our room when we got back after our wedding, the sweetest gift ever! We will definitely be back and we highly highly recommend staying here!!!
What a memorable experience! The lodge is rustic and stunning. I explored each floor looking at all the original artwork. Truly, it felt like a museum. My bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the furnishings were all just gorgeous. I had a million dollar view from our balcony and my sister and I walked out the back door, found a trail and enjoyed a hike where we saw wildflowers, a waterfall, a mother deer with her fawn. We also enjoyed a great meal at The Gulch and relaxed in the pool and hot tub. I will definitely be back. One of the most unique places I've ever stayed!
We stayed at Snowpine Lodge for three nights to escape the summer heat and enjoy hiking and the Snowbird tram. Unfortunately, we experienced air conditioning issues throughout our stay and ended up moving rooms twice. After three nights of poor sleep, we simply didn’t have the energy to enjoy the mountain activities we came for. The front desk staff was friendly and genuinely tried to help. Our disappointment was with the lack of resolution from maintenance and the limited empathy from management. We understand that mechanical issues happen, but when the main reason for your trip is a cool, comfortable place to sleep, it has a huge impact on the entire experience. Snowpine is a beautiful property in an incredible setting, which makes this even more disappointing. We came with very high expectations and truly wanted to give this place five stars. We hope they’re able to improve both their response to A/C issues and the way they’re handled when they affect a guest’s stay.
We had such a great wedding weekend at the Snow Pine Lodge! The hotel is beautiful, the staff is so accommodating, the food was excellent! Everything about our long weekend in Ulta, Utah was spectacular! Thank you especially to Shannon and the whole staff in the restaurants and catering. We had so much fun. We will definitely be returning for another trip in the future.
I am posting from a wedding planner's perspective. I planned a destination wedding at Snowpine Lodge, and the wedding was this past weekend. And we had the BEST experience. The front desk team is so friendly and will take care of your every need (shoutout to Meg and Shannon). The Sales and Event team is wonderful and handled everything so well (thanks Caitlyn!). The banquet event managers went above and beyond (Ingrid and Drew were wonderful). We had the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, tent reception, and the after party all at Snowpine and everything was perfect! If you are a bride considering Snowpine, I highly recommend it!
I had an incredible experience at the ski and spa camp at Snowpine Lodge in Alta Ski Area. The ski coaches were excellent, with thoughtful, personalized instruction that helped me build confidence and noticeably improve my skiing in just a few days. The balance of activity and relaxation made the experience stand out. After full, energizing days on the mountain, the spa provided the perfect reset. The highlight for me was the salt scrub massage. Beyond the skiing and spa, what made the camp special was the sense of community. I formed meaningful relationships with other participants, and there was a genuine camaraderie that made the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. It was the perfect blend of challenge, restoration, and connection. I left feeling stronger, refreshed, and already hoping to return.
Came to Utah and made a valid attempt to ski. Friends stayed at Alta and we found ourselves at Snowpine’s bar. Sara was great, Tip her well and the beer will flow. Super cool and the food was fantastic. Was there numerous nights and never paid for my pint. Thank you and see you soon. Love it
I'll be echoing some previous reviews in saying the Spa is phenomenal, the hotel staff not so much. My wife came up for an all-day spa experience and was floored by the services she experienced. Very grateful to that team for providing a well-deserved, relaxing getaway. The issues occurred after she left the Spa and attempted to retrieve her car from Valet. There had been some weather that day, and the Valet refused to hand over her keys. She drives an all-wheel drive car, with plenty of winter driving experience, however, he refused to listen to her. It took a phone call from myself to convince them to allow her to leave, an extremely demeaning experience. This interaction made her very uncomfortable. I have sent multiple emails to the Front Desk staff to try make them aware of the situation, and received no response. I am now making it public that I do not consider this lodge a safe place for women, and would discourage family and friends from coming here, despite the excellent Spa.
Relaxing, breathtaking place with so much charm. It smells amazing in this hotel. I love the burger at the restaurant on the first floor. And the hot cocoa is wonderful. Such a special spot.
My wife and I chose this hotel on A quick weekend getaway. It was A great weekend. The amenities were clean and beautiful. It was restful and relaxing. And the staff was amazing. We definitely felt like we were VIPs. I would love to bring my whole family here for the next experience we have at this hotel.
