Beaver Mountain Yurt consistently receives high praise for its friendly and helpful staff, beautiful mountain setting, and family-friendly atmosphere. While some guests experienced minor issues with staff professionalism, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, particularly regarding value and the resort’s welcoming environment. The resort is known for its locally-owned charm and convenient amenities.
Had a great time at Beaver Mountain! The facility is great and all their staff is wonderful! The minute you walk in you are greeted and the check in process for our lesson was phenomenal. The staff at reception, rental, ski instruction, and cafe was friendly and great. Big thanks to Brian our ski instructor! He was so patient with not only my son but myself who kept wiping out on the magic carpet! Your staff is so nice that we will definitely recommend your facility to our friends and we’ll be back.. this time to conquer the magic carpet and hopefully be a learn to turn 2!! ?
Beautiful mountain best for beginner and intermediate skiers. I really liked the new lodge and prices are reasonable.
Had a blast! It was my first time! The workers who helped us get our rentals were amazing, so knowledgeable, and kind. Heidi, however... She is extremely unprofessional. Returned my rentals and accidentally went through the wrong doors. Heidi then tried to get my attention by yelling, “LISTEN LINDA” as I was already 20+ feet away by now and being helped by a worker. EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. Made me not want to come back. Such a shame! Everyone else was absolutely amazing!
Beaver Mountain is the best Ski Resort in the United States. Small, Longest Locally Family Owned Ski Area left in the US. Known for it's personal touch!!!. Locals love it ad travelers find it spectacular when they come!! So proud to be a part of the Beaver Mountain Family.
Easily my favorite ski resort I've ever been to. Lines are short, staff is awesome, snow is impeccable
I had a great time skiing here. Everyone I talked to was nice and friendly. Unfortunately I’m not a great skier so I fell on my face a few times, but basically every time I had people come and check on me.
Just visited Beaver Mountain to celebrate my sister’s birthday, it was some of my family’s first time skiing and the staff was so helpful and nice. Our favorite run was Gentle Ben to Dead Horse. Also, my husband accidentally returned his own ski goggles to the rental house (oops, lol) and when we called about it they shipped them back to us, same day, free of charge. Definitely will be returning, thanks for a great weekend!
We hit Beaver for the first time ever, in early January 2025, and what a great little resort! We caught a powder day with overcast skies, light winds and everyone had a blast. 50 Runs, 2 Chairs to the top and a $70 Lift Ticket says, "We will be back"
This is an amazing ski resort! The staff were really nice and the instructions were easy to follow for renting/buying tickets! They have multiple lifts, especially for beginners. Lots of variety for trails, and a lodge for when you get hungry! Very family friendly and overall a really good resort! The price for the tickets are competitive, and I heard they are going to add another lodge and possibly a new speed lift. I'm looking forward to coming here again, thank you!
Beaver Mountain is where I first tried skiing all the way back in 1997. Little Beaver was perfect for a new skier to learn. The mountain still is. In 1999, I did go to snowboarding. Since I loved it so much, I did a lot of my boarding here. I even went here as a poor college student in 2007. As you can see, this place is awesome enough to keep me coming. Now to the present, I love their yurt. You board all day, and then you rest at the yurt. I loved it. The mountain is fantastic. There is some green, lots of blue, and has black diamond. It had something for everyone. I usually do not have to wait long to get on the lift. There is a building part way down if nature calls. I do love to stop at their cafe. The food is really good. I also feel the food does not try to nickel and dime you. The gift shop is great. It has many t shirts and other gear. The staff is really nice too. They always seem willing to help.
