The Hyatt Place Provo Downtown receives generally positive reviews, highlighting its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and convenient location near BYU and downtown Provo. Guests appreciate the spaciousness and blackout curtains, as well as the friendly staff and relatively affordable parking. However, some concerns center around hidden fees, noise issues, and inconsistent staff service.
My stay at the Hyatt Place Provo was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious, and quiet, with a great layout that made it easy to relax after a long day. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location right across from the Utah Valley Conference Center was a bonus. Close to downtown, restaurants, and the university, with easy parking and a safe, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was fresh and well?stocked, with plenty of options for everyone. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.
This place is pretty pathetic and if you have pets don't stay here. The in hotel menu is miniscule, and they were out of the only think worth eating. They are so glad there are restaurants near by, but if you have pets, most of them are out of the question. Parking is in a garage, but be ready to trek across the world to get to your room. The front desk staff were fine, but not helpful. It is clean and the rooms are nice, but not worth all the other headaches for a road tripper.
Very clean and set up well had a room with a king bed and a pull out coach which was awesome for the kids. The need it self was a little harder that I like. Black out windows are amazing could sleep in the middle of the day no problem.
The rooms are awesomely clean. The blackout curtains are excellent. The heating/cooling units are highly responsive. The location is close to BYU campus. The pool is outdoor and heated. Some of the staff were a little confused with the computer systems, but they got through it with three of them working together.
This is a hotel that is in a nice location however they nickel and dime as much as they can. The parking here is 10$ (per day) if you give the hotel your license plate within 20 minutes of parking. It should be free. Breakfast is 8$ per person. The “market” (basically their snack bar) is up charged for example 2.00$ for a bottle of water. If you want alcohol you must order an up-charged entree for example 9$ for french fries. When i went to my bathroom there were wash rags that looked like they came from someone’s home. Bleached and gross looking. Theres no microwave in the room. I asked for help from a woman at the front desk because there is no input button on the remote and i wanted to play video games. The lady said she would be at my room within five minutes and she never came. The heater is super loud too. It squeals like its parts need oil.
There's elements of the hotel that feel a little old like our sink was scratched up and the porcelain had come up making it look dirty. But otherwise great service. Great stay. Wish the coffee, water, and tea was available all day like other places though.
This Hyatt was extremely clean. Their breakfast was delicious and their location and proximity to BYU was incredible. The staff were super courteous and the facility was very nice. Parking was also fairly cheap.
My family and I stayed here for my niece's wedding and it was the perfect location! The room was spacious, clean, and they even brought extra blankets to accommodate my mother. The food was delicious and the staff was always so kind and friendly. My sister used the fitness center and really enjoyed it. Thank you so much Hyatt Place Provo for making our stay perfect in every way.
I was on my way to Amarillo Texas. I was tired and booked this room because the reviews said it had comfortable beds and was pet friendly. I knew I would have to pay $75 for my poodle. However, I got there and they put me in a room near a door with outside access for my dog. The room had carpet that was stained, the room had to be the worst in the hotel. It was very very dark. The bed was fine but the heater made a terrible noise every time it shut off. The guy who checked me in wasn't friendly and it seemed like it was because I had a dog. At least I thought I would have easy access to take her out but no! the door led to the property edge and was full of river rock. I had to walk her down the street to find some place for her to go. This is not a pet friendly hotel. The next night I found a much cheaper option in Farmington Utah that only charged $20 for the dog and had a huge inner courtyard with grass. Super comfortable bed and I slept so good! That was Brentwood inn and garden.
Nice hotel in downtown Provo. Great location with easy walk to restaurants and bars. Clean rooms. Parking garage is immediately adjacent and no issue to access. Breakfast is decent with the cold food higher quality than the hot. Staff are professional but somewhat reserved.
