Best Western Plus High Country Inn offers a comfortable stay with modern amenities and easy access to Utah’s scenic landscapes. Whether traveling for business, a family trip, or an outdoor adventure, this hotel provides convenience, relaxation, and warm hospitality.
The Best Western Plus High Country Inn consistently receives positive feedback for its welcoming staff, beautiful landscaping, and dog-friendly amenities, including a spacious outdoor dog park. While cleanliness and room comfort are generally praised, recent reviews highlight issues with outdated room features and occasional noise concerns.
Great place to stay. Wonderful staff. I had a Walmart order delivered to the front lobby and before I got there they called to make sure I knew it was there. There is also a pond in the back with fish in there are they let you feed the fish. Best hotel breakfast I've had in a while.
We’ve stayed here a few times and it’s great for traveling! They have a ton of beautiful landscaping in the back with walking paths and a dog park. They have a lot of big parking areas so you can park large vehicles or campers or uhauls. Pet friendly and great rooms.
We had an awesome room overlooking the gardens the lady at the front desk was wonderful when we checked in. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anybody. Always ask for a room by the gardens it is beautiful
Amazing environment! The only reason I knocked a star off is because the electrical outlets in the room were all loose (hard to charge electronics if the charger falls out of the wall), as was the toilet. The beds were very comfortable, which I don't usually encounter in hotels. I loved that I could have brought our animals with us. They offer pet friendly rooms and have an on site dog park. The front desk lady I spoke with at check in was very friendly and informative.
Well, we had a tiny pieces of shattered glass on the bathroom floor from previous guests I assume. How I found it out- I cut my feet. Called service to clean it up , the lady came with a broom ??? the only thing that could help was vacuum and washing the floor so these tiny particles would go away. She definitely picked some with her broom but mostly just swept it out of the bathroom on the floor near sink ?well thank you very much. It was already too late and the need to wake up early stopped me from being more persistent. Next morning my kid needed a rest between super early game and next one , it was sooooo loud. I get it guests might be loud , but cleaning personnel blasting their music while dragging their cart ?????? guys it’s too much , and we had a sign do not disturb which I guess means nothing. Breakfast was good though. Well deserved one star.
The hotel creates a strong impression from the outset. The reception team are warm, capable, and genuinely attentive, so arriving feels easy and reassuring from the first moment. The room is immaculate and remarkably quiet, breakfast is simple but clearly prepared with care, and the peaceful surroundings make truly restorative sleep feel effortless. What stands out most, however, is the value. The level of comfort and attention feels significantly above what the price would suggest, which is why this is somewhere I would readily recommend and gladly return to.
The smell of bleach in our first room was horrendous and we were moved to a different one. The second room was much better on smell, but the bathroom was awful. There bath screeched while the shower was in use, the tub did not drain making you stand in 2 inches of water, the toilet was not secure and rocked back and forth, the vent fan was horribly disgusting, and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. Additionally the corners of the room were pretty disgusting and the ice bucket had clearly not been used in a while and the corner of the counter it sat on couldn’t have been wiped in weeks…
I love the location and little extras here. The dog park was great for my pup to hang out with other dogs as we traveled. The kids enjoyed the pool although I thought it was to cold. The path behind this location makes this stop one of a kind and a great hit. Breakfast was average. The only issue is the walls being to thin. I am usually a sound sleeper but you here everything every neighbor is doing. 2am I could hear neighbors talking (it woke me). Doors opening and closing, people showering. You really hear it all. Lol.
Stayed at hotel while father was in hospital took ESA animals for disabled husband and was charged 280 dollars for cleaning fee?? I have stayed all other properties and these fees were waived for service animals!! Spoke with a Jessica who told Best western customer service she’s the General Manager and is not I will never stay here again as the do not honor service animals under ESA protection!!! I am appalled at this and will never stay here or any Best Western in the future for how rudely we were treated!!!
Room was way smaller than pictured online. Bathtub was dirty with streaks and hair. Bathroom floor was dirty and had a lot of hair. Mold in the bathroom. The lobby is beautiful but that’s where the Best Western Plus, stops. One washcloth was provided, just overall very underwhelming. Maybe they put us in a smaller room because we redeemed points. Who knows, but I won’t be back.
