The Fairfield Inn By Marriott is a relatively new property offering a convenient location near ski resorts and attractions. Recent reviews highlight a clean and comfortable stay with good amenities, but also reveal concerns about bed quality and inconsistent service. Overall, guests appreciate the value and proximity to local activities, but there are noticeable issues impacting the guest experience.
I wasn't sure what to expect tbh but it turned out to be a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the freeway/near a cluster of Ski resorts so it was nice to be so close by. I would stay here again if needed. It was also nice that there was no daily parking fee.
PROS: Clean & just enough room. Fantastic free breakfast! CONS: No sign telling you which way is the elevator is from the entrance or on any floor and it's not obvious at all! The rooms don't have sufficient lighting and are too dark. Don't get a room by the main street because traffic noise never stops.
One of the best hotels I've ever visited! The view from my room was world class! Car charging available on site was a huge plus! The receptionist was very sweet and recommended some sightseeing excursions while I was in town. So personable and engaging! The free continental breakfast had actual mugs and cutlery available which added a level of class and sophistication that was very much appreciated!
This is a very nice hotel. It appeared to be very new. The room was very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of different items. There were not many restaurants within walking distance, but many within 10 to 15 minutes drive.
This is a newer property. It's very comfortable. There are a variety of breakfast items provided. The pool and jacuzzi were great. It's a new property so there were a few growing pains. Speak to the manager, Shannon, if you have any issues. She was very easy to deal with and she'll take care of you. We enjoyed our stay.
If you’re a Marriott person, you know that we stay at Marriott because of the consistency when it comes to the types of beds and comfort, and we all know that based off of the type of Marriott, you book some of those accommodations change, but it’s fair to say that Marriott beds typically stay extremely comfortable and consistent. This property is not that you will be disappointed. It is a newer property, but when it came to the beds. They absolutely went the cheap route. They are extremely firm uncomfortable and it made my four days in Utah for a family wedding absolutely miserable. A week later my back still hurts. I don’t have back problems. I don’t have sleeping problems the beds here are absolutely terrible.
We stayed at this Fairfield while we were in town for a wedding. It is in a great central location close to restaurants, the canyons, etc. We had great views of the beautiful Wasatch mountains. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and beds are comfortable. We had a great stay!
We stayed in Room 111 on June 13 for 2 nights. We liked being on the first floor. The room was super quiet, facing the road to the west. Great bed, bathroom, breakfast, parking, everything. For breakfast, one can choose a metal fork, knife and spoon, and china (plastic) plate instead of plastic and paper, which was classy.
Looks like a fairly nice hotel but I wasn’t able to check in. I didn’t have my license and I understand that was my fault. I spoke with two girls, Hannah and Emma or Emily I believe and they were very nice but the woman I had to deal with on the 14th of July at approximately 3pm was very rude. She didn’t even want to listen to me and barely replied to anything I said. I understand policies ( so no need to reply the generic “that’s our policy”) but she really was very rude. I forgot my ID…I’m not a criminal and we all end up in a bind sometimes. I managed to stay at another nice hotel but was left feeling pretty crappy after dealing with her. I didn’t catch her name. I appreciated them not charging me even though it was after my window of cancellation but I had called ahead to ask (regarding lack of ID) and wasn’t able to get a solid answer. Anyway..looks like a nice hotel and the other two girls were nice but that woman basically stood there until I left and really wouldn’t engage with me. I’m sure working front desk is a fairly miserable job but no need to treat decent people poorly.
Super frustrated to have my room be in the middle of a very large group staying together (dance competition?). Doors opening and shutting up and down the hall all around me from early morning making it difficult to sleep. I wish you’d put guests who are not in that group AWAY from that group….
