Loved it! A new way to do hotels. ALL automated tho there was a helpful clerk at the front desk. Beautiful HUGE rooms with sofa, easy chair, lamps, full kitchen with stove frig, dishes....tho oddly no microwave! Bright modern hallway, good security, big TV, automated parking garage. We loved it!

I had a wonderful stay at Placemakr Salt Lake City. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The team was incredibly accommodating and even held my luggage while I attended a spa appointment, making my travel day much easier. The location is fantastic, with easy access to downtown and the incredible Saturday Farmers Market. It was such a fun experience exploring products and delicacies from local farms, artists, and creators. My room was spacious, modern, clean, and thoughtfully equipped for an extended stay. I especially appreciated having a full kitchen along with an in-unit washer and dryer, which added a level of convenience you don't often find in hotels. The property also offers excellent shared spaces. The second-floor community area features private office cubicles that made it easy to get work done, while the third-floor terrace provides beautiful downtown views and plenty of comfortable seating to relax and unwind. The parking garage was convenient, and every detail seemed designed to make guests feel comfortable. One unexpected highlight was the signature scent throughout the hallways—it smelled incredible and left a lasting impression. I'll have to ask what they use the next time I visit. If you're looking for a modern, comfortable stay with apartment-style amenities and a great downtown location, Placemakr is an excellent choice.

Placemakr Salt Lake City was amazing. The staff took great care of us and were there to make sure we were happy. The lady at the front desk was welcoming and always friendly. The room was exactly what we needed felt like I was living in my own apartment. Room 312 had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again next time.

A great place to “set and forget.” Definitely my kind of aparthotel: clean, modern but not pretentious, and a PIN code for room access instead of a card. I especially appreciated the human touch from our host Damion. the constant communication and followup regarding our needs was really great. The room was good, though a carpeted, wood, or tiled floor would have been better than the cold concrete. A negative is that the TV mirroring never worked, a positive is that I was very impressed with the buildings passive climate control the room stayed relatively warm even when it was freezing outside. One minor note: there wasn't a safe in the room. My only suggestion is to provide water bottles in the room at checkin. We had a coffee machine but no water, so we had to go down to the lobby at midnight to find some (and one day there were only two bottles left). The location isn't the most central, it’s not right next to a FrontRunner/light rail station or the most pedestrian-friendly part of downtown but it’s close enough. The bike racks outside were a huge plus for parking Lime scooters, and the bike lanes make it easy to get almost anywhere downtown. Again, a huge thanks to Damion for being so kind and helpful. In a modern, digital first hotel, having a host who truly cares makes all the difference. 5-star service on that front.

Great location and easy walk to the downtown and convention center! Loved it there was a washer and dryer in the unit. It had a great gym and a nice common space to work from. Damion at check in was great, he was friendly and helpful all weekend long; was here for a volleyball tourney! Will look for one of these in future travels.

I stayed here during a business trip, and the location is really great, everything is within walking distance, including lots of restaurants and the city center. The apartment is clean, spacious, and has everything you need: a kitchen, a combined living/sleeping area, wardrobes, and even a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. The manager and staff are very helpful and genuinely great people, which made the stay even better. It’s a great place to stay, whether you’re visiting for a short time or planning a longer stay.

As described. Was great to have a full studio apartment rather than a tiny hotel room. Attended a conference so was great to have space to work, etc. Close enough to walk to the convention center (~ half mile walk, took ~15 mins) or quick to get an Uber or cruise around on a rented scooter Just to note, the building is actually an apartment building, so this is sort of an airbnb style lodging. Seamless entry (once you memorize the code they give you), simply punch in the code for building, elevator, and room entry. And digital checkout

I booked a bachelor room and it was very nice. I stayed here for two nights and it was close enough I could walk to all the places I wanted to. I also spent some time in their games room and played a round of pool. Everything is automated so there’s isn’t a front desk but they give you a number to contact if you need help. The bodega next door is convenient
