Best Western Ruby’s Inn offers a convenient and affordable base for exploring Bryce Canyon National Park, praised for its location, included breakfast, and friendly staff. While some rooms feel dated and can be noisy, many guests highlight the value and overall positive experience, especially regarding the on-site amenities and proximity to the park.
We stayed here in June 2026 while visiting Bryce Canyon and would absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable place with everything you need, Ruby’s Best Western is hard to beat. The rooms were clean, the property was well maintained, and the location couldn’t be more convenient to Bryce Canyon National Park. The biggest surprise was the breakfast buffet. It wasn’t your typical hotel breakfast…it was a full buffet with plenty of hot and cold options, and everything we tried was delicious. For our family of four, I honestly think it would have cost $50–60 if we’d paid for a similar breakfast at a restaurant. It was a tremendous value. And if you eat there, don’t forget to tip your server. - they work hard. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. It seemed like many of the employees were international students or seasonal workers, and they all did an outstanding job making guests feel welcome. For the price, location, breakfast, and service, this place exceeded our expectations. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bryce Canyon.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn for one night and it was great. The location couldn't be any better for Bryce Canyon and you do not need to leave the property if you don't want to. They have a restaurant (we didn't eat in it but it was packed), a small grocery store, laundry mat and a souvenir shop that didn't have just tacky options! The front desk was very kind and gave us all of the information we needed. Regarding the hotel rooms - are they dated? Yes! BUT the rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable and everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable too. Would I stay here again - absolutely!
Spent 2 nights over Memorial weekend with my family to visit Bryce Canyon Park. Loction: best location in the heart of town, several minutes from the park. Lots of shops and restaurants right outside of the hotel. plenty of parking. The area itself is quiet at night. Hotel: the hotel itself is very old. Rooms are dated with stains on the ceiling, walls, and baseboards. bedroom is nicely sized, the beds are clean and comfortable. The rooms around are very loud, the walls are paperthin, and you hear everyone slamming their doors at night. They have a huge store on site with everything you need from clothes to food to souvenirs. Breakfast: the dining area is big, buffet style, and they have two stations that offer the same food, so there is no crowd around it. The food itself is very basic and not really tasty. It was a busy weekend and yet we didn’t need to wait to be seated. Service: all employees were nice and helpful, at check-in and in a restaurant Pool and hot tub: we didn’t get to use them, but they were very crowded, the hot tub was full at all times
Great value near Bryce Canyon — spacious rooms and friendly staff We’re a French family of five with three children, and we had a very good stay at the Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. The decor is a bit old-school, but everything is clean and functional. The only downside is the air conditioning, which can be quite noisy — we ended up turning it off at night. The staff at reception and throughout the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is included and is a real plus. It’s a buffet with a good selection: scrambled eggs, French toast, bagels you can toast, coffee, and even hot chocolate with whipped cream for the kids — simple but very satisfying. There is also a large indoor pool, which our kids really enjoyed, especially since it’s heated. The hotel has a big parking area and overall feels like a “motel++” — much better than a standard motel, with a very good quality/price ratio. Finally, the location is excellent, just about a 10-minute drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. We highly recommend it!
The rooms are very clean. There is a little bit of noise coming from the room on the second floot but we didn't even care since we were more than happy with the noise if that meant staying in such a clean room. The employees are friendly and they do a great job of making you feel welcome. We ate from the buffet and the food was well seasoned and had great flavors. Highly recommend staying here.
First thing to know is that you’re going to a tourist destination, Facil. So you can expect tire prices for food and amenities. Knowing that Ruby’s is a favorite place for us to stay whether it’s in the hotel or we bring our travel trail down and stay in their campground. The room was a fair size and clean and quiet so no complaints. They’re at all. We stayed there a number of times and I’ve always enjoyed it. It’s a destination my wife and I love to go to. The dinner buffet, I must admit, was disappointing in its lack of variety. At $28 plus tax. I don’t think it was worth it but again you’re at a tourist destination in a remote area so you have to expect to pay more. The breakfast for free which was free with the cost of the room was more than adequate. One of the things that is always rewarding is the pleasantness and helpfulness of all the staff. Taken into account it being a remote tourist destination. It is a wonderful romantic place to stay right outside Bryce Canyon national Park, which is itself is a incredible experience. It will always go back to Ruby‘s.
We recently stayed at Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn on our trip to Utah to visit the National Parks. Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn is an excellent base for exploring Bryce Canyon National Park, located just minutes from the entrance in Bryce Canyon City, Utah. Its unbeatable proximity makes early morning visits or sunset views effortless, with easy access to the park shuttle during peak seasons—no parking hassles. The hotel offers spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds, modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, and reliable housekeeping. We stayed in a double queen room that felt roomy and well-maintained after a long day hiking hoodoos. The included hot breakfast buffet provides plenty of options—eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee—to fuel adventures, though it's more quantity-focused than gourmet.Amenities stand out: an indoor pool and hot tub for relaxation, fitness center, on-site laundry, multiple dining choices (including a solid restaurant and general store for snacks/groceries), and even an art gallery and gift shops. Staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and efficient, contributing to a welcoming Western vibe. While some find it pricey in high season and rooms a bit dated in spots, the convenience, family-friendly facilities, and overall value make it a practical, enjoyable choice for national park travelers. We'd happily return for its convenience and comprehensive offerings.
This was our 2nd time stay at Ruby’s inn and even in 3 years the hotel price was same which is amazing. Room was clean with lake view which was dried now and The location of this facility is so convenient to the park. I loved the breakfast which is included in the hotel price have good selection of hot and cold stuff along with fruits and bread. We tried the dinner buffet which was good for its price. My favorite part was their store which has wide varied gift items. My only suggestion is adding Asian menu in food.
When we arrived we quickly had something to eat at the restaurant attached to the Inn. After eating we had no problems checking in and finding our hotel room. The room itself was good. Not a lot of noise from outside or neighbouring rooms. In the morning the breakfast was served at the attached restaurant and we were given a voucher to present to staff for the buffet. The selection was nice and staff were helpful and friendly. Checkout was simplified by providing your email at check-in and leaving your keys inside your hotel room. No need to see the front desk again. Overall I’d stay again if I were coming to see Bryce Canyon National Park.
Highly recommend Ruby’s Inn! Room was comfortable and clean. It was quiet and delightful. we loved the location. We came at the end of summer so it was a little busy but location to the park was perfect. The hotel restaurant was clean, great staff and good food- and plenty of it! The general store was handy and prices were reasonable. Everything was easily accessible.
