One of my favorite spa hotels for unwinding after the daily grind. It was an unforgettable experience from the very first minute I called to book; the staff member was incredibly attentive and cordial. I explained exactly what I wanted, and she chose the perfect room for a truly unforgettable, relaxing, and restful night. I would go back as often as possible—the receptionist was absolutely lovely. 1,000% recommended; the rooms were beautiful and spotless. There was total soundproofing—no noise from neighboring rooms or the floor above. I felt like I was in a bubble, completely shut off from outside sounds or wind. Everything was impeccably clean and organized. The breakfast buffet was delicious—it rivals even the best breakfast restaurants. The service from the entire staff was wonderful. Plus, the location offers a view that feels like an escape from the city, without actually being far away. ?

The location here Is absolutely beautiful, super relaxing, and perfect for a nice romantic getaway. It’s also not too far out from great restaurants and fun activities. We came for a mini honeymoon after our wedding For a couple nights, we had the Kodiak cabin and the room was just the perfect size for the both of us. Originally when we had gotten there, the power went out which caused several other complications throughout our stay, but the staff was incredible. Throughout the whole process, it felt like they treated us like family and worked quickly to help keep our stay special.

The location is beautiful, but we weren't expecting to be so close to other people. We felt bad taking our velcro dog with us as he would scream every time we left him alone. Otherwise, though, beautiful place and lovely-looking cabins - they are smaller, so it's like a hotel room, but themed like a cabin. Nice experience, but would not do it again. We also made the mistake of taking a stay-cation here during the world cup and even though internet/wifi is the first thing they mention on the paper when you enter the cabin and it is mentioned that they have internet available, there was no internet in the cabin, so we weren't able to watch any of it (not even on our phones). We reported this 3 times over the course of 2 days and the responses we got were that it "should be working" or that they would check it out when they got a minute and then never followed up or went to take a look (or sent someone else to take a look). The best response was that they reset the router, which then made the network appear as an option, but it kept saying that there was no internet connection. When someone did go take a look on the second day, he didn't even enter the cabin, he just said that the firestick in the room had never worked, shrugged, and walked away. This wouldn't have been an issue if he had been warned and prepared for it, but for it to not have worked at any point and for the staff to not seem to want to be bothered with it just made us feel like we were being annoying and we decided to spend most of our last day at our house instead and just returned to sleep since we had already paid to stay there. Truthfully, though, a night would have been enough and we wouldn't have had to deal with this. The food was delicious, but on the pricier side (when we ordered dinner at the restaurant attached) and we noticed that not all of our towels were switched out when room service stopped by. It was a pleasant surprise that they included free breakfast every morning, but they did forget to give us the paper to turn in for the following day and we had to hunt them down for it, really adding to our feeling of being a nuisance. Overall, not the worst experience, but we will not be staying there again. It was not worth it for the price and what the experience was.

This place is one of our favorites. We LOVE that every room has a two person tub. The breakfast they bring to your room is always so good. The newspaper under the plates is an awesome touch. The environment is AMAZING. Being in that canyon next to the river is such an easy and quick way to get away from everything. It’s worth every penny for the rest and peace this place brings!!!

This is an amazing place in beautiful Ogden Canyon! The food is delicious and there is live music. The best part of the Alaskan Inn is the manager. Brenda works so hard to make sure everyone has an awesome experience. She is outstanding and so much fun!!

This was a quick overnight for my wife and I to celebrate an anniversary. I have to say that this is a great place. We stayed in a cabin and every part of the night was great. We ordered some food from the local grill. It was delivered hot and fresh out of the oven. It tasted great and the price was good. The people there took great care of it! Breakfast was also amazing. I'd highly recommend this place. I know we'll be going back. Thanks to everyone there that made our night perfect.

My stay at the Alaskan Inn was honestly such a wonderful surprise. As someone who is a complete germaphobe, I was nervous that it might feel outdated or poorly maintained, but the moment I walked into our room in the main lodge, all of those worries disappeared. Everything felt remarkably clean, fresh, beautifully decorated, and very well cared for — it may have been recently updated. What truly made the experience exceptional though was Brenda, the hotel manager. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out, and you can genuinely feel the love and pride she has for the property. That kind of warmth and care is rare, and it completely changes the atmosphere of a place. She made the experience feel welcoming, peaceful, and special. The on-site restaurant was also excellent, especially breakfast. Between the delicious food, live music, cozy fire pits, and breathtaking mountainside views, the entire experience felt relaxing and memorable. Sitting outside by the fire listening to music with that scenery around us was the perfect ending to the evening. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic, relaxing, and beautifully maintained getaway.

A fantastic out of the way gem found while traveling for a cross country move. The staff at the Alaskan Inn were absolutely incredible and walked me through everything upon arrival. We stayed in a very spacious, cozy cabin with an absolutely massive jet tub. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean, quiet, and well provisioned. We were also traveling with a canine companion, and never hit any snags on that point either, with plenty of green spaces and a nice side road to walk along the canyon for exercise. Breakfast was delicious and delivered right to our room, with the capability of dinner or even dessert to be delivered late night. What a wonderful place the Alaskan Inn is! Definitely stop in!

I needed a rest after being on the road for a few days so I decided to stop in here, they have the cutest little cabins, and a wonderful Jacuzzi tub which was much needed at this point in my trip. They also have some great breakfast options delivered right to your door in the morning, and the chai latte is to die for!! It's definitely advertised as a romantic couples get away, and it certainly is that, but if you're like me and just want to treat yourself sometimes this is definitely a winning option!!

This resort is very nice, the breakfast was incredible, so was the grill. However, the staff is ABSOLUTELY amazing. We had a few hiccups in our reservation regarding our service animals. The staff handled EVERYTHING super well, and even came to fix our shower which was out of their scope of work. We will definitely be coming back for vacations in the future.
