Guests consistently praise the hotel's prime location near ski resorts and the friendly, accommodating staff, though some experiences have been marred by maintenance issues in older rooms.
Perfect hotel for a ski trip. Close to the canyon, bus right there, breakfast and a hot tub/pool for after. Moana was exceptional and helped us get all checked in after a day on the mountain
I can’t speak highly enough about this hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean, I slept really great in my bed. The pool and hot tub are a great place to hang out after skiing. Finally, the breakfast really completes the experience. The food is warm and delicious, and a wide variety for young and old people alike. The location is prime for skiing, but also allows access to the beautiful Salt Lake City. There was a man lifting weights while shirtless around 8am on Saturday morning(Valentine’s Day), which gave me the heeby jeebies a little
Bryan at the front desk was amazing! He was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. He made check-in easy and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. Truly one of the most personable and accommodating front-desk staff I’ve ever met. Thank you, Bryan!??
We stayed here for 6 days while my husband had Dental Implants. The room was great, we had a suite right by the stairs. It was very quiet, the gym and hot tub were great. The breakfast was wonderful and so were the ladies working there each morning. The evening clerk working was named Brian was the best. He was so helpful and recommended so many things and we had bought popsicles for my husband’s surgery and he let us keep them in the freezer. He was just so accommodating knowing my husband just had surgery. We really liked him.
Depending on your room you may have a sweet view (we did). We showed up to breakfast 15 mins late and they were super nice and let us get a waffle anyway. Manager was super accommodating about it. Great service and great room.
This hotel is crisp and cheerful. From the minute you walk in the staff is wonderful…a shout out to Amanda and Brian at the reception desk for their upbeat and helpful manner. The rooms are very bright and spotless, even the halls are wide, bright and fresh feeling. The location is extremely convenient to several highways and main roads yet set back so the location is very quiet. The breakfast staff was terrific…always tidying up, making sure everything was in order and very friendly. Great staff here all around. If I could add a wishlist item here it would be for there to be a bit of a cozy living room area to hangout; currently there is only the dual purpose sitting area near the lobby which also serves as the breakfast area with just booths and tables..no cozy hang out area. Still, for the price and the overall experience here, this is a solid choice.
Edit: I think the general managers response just goes to show their type of “customer service”. As a store manager myself and one for many years at difference companies, I am well aware that audio isn’t available when reviewing security footage nor could you clearly tell if someone was laughing. To just deny what actually happened instead of owning up to it and apologizing truly reflects their terrible “customer service”. Was traveling from Seattle to Denver and late night wanted to do laundry before I had to wake up early to leave and they only accept cash for coins and there was “nothing she could do” and started laughing at me. Can’t add it to the room can’t pay with a debit card or Apple Pay. I’m a Hilton honors member and I’ll be cancelling my membership after this terrible experience and customer service. Who carries cash on them nowadays anyways??
This was a typical Hampton, rooms and breakfast were just fine. But I give it five stars ++ for customer service at the front desk. This hotel was sold out when we called and talked to manager, Brian. He went above and beyond to try to help us get a room reserved as we were traveling through the next day. Long story, short, both he and the front desk staff treated us very very well. Kudos!
Staff were very helpful in getting us moved to a new room when our AC wasn't working, ensuring we got a good night's sleep. The included breakfast was quite good as well. Great location and easy access to the main arteries to get to where you're headed around town.
Excellent stay at this hotel. Everything is really clean, yummy breakfast and great service. A big special thank you to Moana who went out of her way to find another pool for me to swim at while the one at the hotel was repaired. I truly appreciate this!
