The Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites Midvalley offers a budget-friendly option in the Salt Lake City area, boasting spacious rooms and included amenities like parking and breakfast. Recent reviews highlight the friendliness of the staff and a generally comfortable stay, although some guests have experienced noise issues and minor maintenance concerns.
Clean, cozy, spacious for families, especially if you have littles, safe, and comfortable. We are in a double queen bedroom room and it has a small living room space with a table and couch. (Staying for a week). We also love that the parking lot is close to the front entrance. The only thing that didn’t work was the tv Internet. Would stay here again and highly recommend if you want a nice hotel that is budget friendly. Also free breakfast and parking. Update: The Tv did end up working, you just have to press Netflix, home, then guide for it to work.
The rooms are great. Nice and cool when we walked in. Our only complaint is, (through no fault of the hotel). We being on the 3rd floor, have some guests above us. Sounded like a herd of elephants. I know what kids jumping off the bed and running around sounds like. It is definitely that. I understand energetic young ones. Next time we'll ask for the top floor.
This hotel is in a good location and has a fair amount of parking spaces. The rooms are very spacious and they were clean. The elevator was broken when we came but that was okay, our room was on the third floor and the steps were close to our room. I wished the AC worked a little better but overall a good hotel.
Stayed here recently for 2 nights with my boyfriend and we had a jacuzzi suite, it was phenomenal. Initially we were worried about cleanliness but it was pristine! The bed was so comfortable and the staff we dealt with (two younger women afternoon/evening on Monday/Tuesday) were so lovely and nice. We had a small issue with my boyfriends card due to travelling through multiple states in a short period of time and they were so understanding and helped suggest solutions! Didn't have a chance to enjoy breakfast but we will definitely be booking again if ever in SLC!
Whoever was working the front desk on the evening June 23rd, 2026. Service was exceptional. He made the check in easy, fixed an error for me with no issue and was so kind and courteous. My son was crying and throwing a fit since we had a long drive from out of state, and he noticed and gave him some cars to play with. Based on the service I received alone I would recommend this hotel 10/10. The room was also spacious with a seating area, couches, and a separated full king bed. Everything was clean, parking was a breeze and rooms are easy to access.
Desk staff was friendly. Building felt aged. When I turned down the bed on the first night there was a stain on the fitted sheet. Bathtub was clean but looked old and outdated. The shampoo & conditioner they give you is a joke. Each only about an inch tall (smaller than travel size) And there was no pump hand soap, only bar soap. We were on the 3rd floor and could hear every footstep from the guests above us. Continental breakfast was okay with cottage cheese & fruit, cheesy eggs, & sausage links. The breakfast area is small and it was very busy. Not a lot of places to sit once you got your food. I wouldn’t say it was a bad stay, but we probably won’t stay here again.
Great staff, service and location. Massive and clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Breakfast is alright and the pool facilities look nice too, but I didn't have the time to use them myself. Very quiet at night and friendly guests as well
The stay was very nice and we especially enjoyed the breakfast. We were highly disappointed there no outlets that had usable usb or usb-c outlets for charging our phones. The hotel seems to know this draw back and sells charging blocks and when we tried to buy one they had run out. This then made us waste an entire evening looking around town and going to several locations to find a charging block which was incredibly annoying.
This hotel is a bit dated however this is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. They have a whole crew bustling around daily. They keep the place in tip top shape. Hopefully owners will update a few things because the staff definitely takes pride in what they do. And it actually does have a nice view of the mountains.
It is a very nice hotel. Location is good and not far from downtown SLC. It has ample parking space. The front desk staff was very friendly and nice. Room was very spacious and comfortable. It had all the necessary amenities. There was also a small separate section for a sofa and a small table in our room. Housekeeping staff was very good. Breakfast was nice and had a lot of options. Price is also very reasonable. The area is safe and has nearby activities as well. It was a lovely experience for us. I would surely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting SLC.
