I could stop at the photo of the freaking FOUNTAIN DRINKS AT BREAKFAST and give this place 5 stars. But it's so deserving in so many ways. Front staff, Hailey, was super nice. Pool was good (and outdoors!), breakfast was standard but included, but...Complimentary washing and drying? God bless America.

In all my years of corporate travel, I’ve stayed at numerous IHG properties across the country, but this one stands out as the most disgusting experience I’ve ever had. The cleanliness here is far from up to company standards. I’ve never checked into a hotel and found other people’s footprints in the shower. The property itself is outdated, and the rooms and furnishings reflect that. I wouldn’t even consider booking this hotel for my worst enemy. Thankfully, my booking agent/company was able to free me from this hotel without any additional charges. NEVER AGAIN.

Hotel room was modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Food options and quality were just ok. The dining area only had 4 table/chair spots. The only other area to eat was on a couple of couches.

We have stayed here twice now over the last few months because of traveling to the area for medical procedures, and both times this Staybridge Suites was a highlight of our trips. Our trips lasted more than 2 weeks in total, and I just couldn't imagine having anywhere near as wonderful of an experience staying somewhere else. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained with clean floors, beds, and furniture. Anytime we had any sort of issue with anything, someone was there quickly to fix it or find a workable solution for us. They offer a complimentary breakfast every morning that always hits the spot. They also have afternoon socials around 6pm on M-W where they have appetizer to small mini buffet meal type offerings such as chicken and waffles, tacos, or my favorite - a customizable macaroni and cheese bar. Ann hosts these socials and she is always a delight to chat with. It's a much appreciated way to stave off the hangries when a long day is winding down and you haven't had the chance to grab dinner yet. I do wish the breakfast hours were longer, buts honestly the only critique i could possibly offer up for the outstanding complimentary food services they provide. The staff from the top down were all extremely professional and courteous in addition to being helpful and friendly. They all really helped make our stay in Midvale pleasant and memorable even though we were there to undergo stressful medical procedures. When we had an issue at check in with not receiving a requested room with the proper accessibility features we needed, Jane at the front desk had us in a room we could maneuver the very next morning. We were all so happy and grateful for the help she provided us with this issue. Sometimes these things happen when booking a hotel, and all the ladies at the front desk understood our dilemma and went above and beyond to help us. I have never had the level of helpfulness, understanding, and kindness the front desk crew showed us from another hotel. When we had days to fill between medical visits, they were always there with a restaurant recommendation or local sight we should see to make our trip even more memorable. I have to give Jane, Kesaya, Jessica, and all the other front desk ladies all their well deserved flowers, they are all spectacular front desk agents. The helpfulness of this Staybridge's staff does not end there though. Their housekeeping crew was amazing. Whenever we needed anything, someone was there quickly to help us. Whether we needed a frying pan for the kitchenette, a coffee maker replaced, or bed sheets changed out, someone provided whatever we needed with a friendly smile. I want to say thank you to Heather, Lana, and Star in particular for running such a smooth ship and keeping us well taken care of for the duration of our stays. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention one of their maintenance crew, Zeke. He is very knowledgeable and helped us with a small issue we had with our thermostat as well as being correct about a problem I was having with a streaming device I had purchased while there. I've already spoken at length about it's wonderful employees, but I also need to speak about the ideal location this Staybridge is in. It's surrounded by plenty of wonderful places to eat whether you're in the mood for drive through fast food, diner fare, or a nice sit down eatery. There is also a 24 hour grocery store practically across the street, and it's a short 10-20 minute drive if you want to hit up a nearby Costco, Target, Walmart, or CVS. The highway is only a few stop lights away as well so you can easily make your way wherever you want to go in the wider SLC area... and do not even get me started on the beautiful mountain views surrounding this hotel. You're greeted by gorgeous giant snowcapped mountains on the horizon whenever you step outside. It's so nice here. The Staybridge Suites Midvale is a wonderful hotel that made our visit to the SLC area so much better than it would have otherwise been. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in the Salt Lake City area. s

This hotel was a great stay! Rooms were super spacious, Ollie my pup was happy with the space. Kitchen had everything we needed and showers were clean. The staff was amazing! They were helpful and answered all my questions.

Everything was great except for the timing of the breakfast. The last three times I have stayed, the breakfast hasn't been ready at the designated time. 7:30 on Saturday seems a little late. Today (Saturday), there was a large group gathered ready to eat breakfast well before opening at 7:30am, but the breakfast was not ready yet. The gentleman has some items ready, but he was still bringing evening or over the next 20 minutes. There was a mad dash to the few items that were ready. Once the food was out, though, it was good. I wouldn't make this review if it happened once. But it's noteworthy for management because it has happened the last three times. Thanks!

The front desk staff is nice, the suites are clean and well-equipped with all the basic necessities, and the location has many surrounding nearby restaurants. They also offer breakfast and they host a cute little social hour M-W. Nice, clean place to stay. Made my visit to Salt Lake City that much nicer =)

Staff is so helpful and friendly! The suite was very clean and had a lovely small kitchen with coffee pot, all the dishes, etc. We had a problem with the bedroom TV, they were not able to fix BUT they tried their very best in an absolutely timely manner and that is why they get all the stars. Thanks for a great stay.

We are staying here for 10 days. I asked that our room was serviced every 3 days . New towels both bathrooms cleaned especially the shower and kitchen. Today i asked if they could service our room the 6th day! No clean sheets the shower and kitchen were not touched…. The bathroom was not cleaned! The only thing they did was get us fresh towels and emptied the garbages, that is it! Extremely disappointing considering we Aren’t in the room we reserved. Not a king bedroom a double twin with no bedroom! We have stayed in these hotels many times, we should have just Airbnb’ed instead. We aren’t even close to becoming diamond until the last few weeks They also do have free laundry other than paying for the soap.
