Guests consistently praise the spacious suites, comfortable beds, and exceptionally friendly staff, particularly noting the warm hospitality and helpfulness of general management. The property features a heated pool, BBQ area, and free breakfast with a wide variety of options. However, several reviews raise concerns about shuttle inconsistencies, significant road noise in some rooms, and occasional issues with housekeeping standards.
At first glance, this place seems pretty good. They have a shuttle. They’re very centrally located. But the airport is too far away for the shuttle to take you there. I’ve never heard of an hotel that won’t take you to the airport on their shuttle. And there’s nothing, and I mean nothing walkable from this location. The shuttle doesn’t run early enough to catch the ski bus, I probably spent more on Ubers than I would have just staying at the ski resort. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good.
Nice large rooms. Good breakfast options. Difficult to sleep with the road noise from the freeway. If you get lucky with a room facing away from the freeway consider yourself lucky. We were on the side facing outward. Traffic was loud all night long impacting sleep.
Stayed here for one night with the wife. Booked it on our drive home. We knew we weren't getting in town until close to 9pm and wanted the convenience of an on site restaurant to get something to eat. Got in around 8:50 and checked in. Came back down around 9:05 to go to their restaurant that states on the website it doesn't close until 10pm and we were told it closed at 9. Disappointed in that as it was a factor in our decision for the hotel. Ended up paying nearly $50 to get one meal delivered to the hotel to split. In the room, everything looked great, but I went to go wipe my hands on the hanging towel after washing them and the cloth had tiny hairs all over it like someone shaved and dried their face, but didn't remove the towel. My guess is housekeeping figured it wasn't used, so didn't change it. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. AC worked great. Around midnight we were woken up to screaming teenagers one room over and loud banging. My wife called the front desk and she was informed that a family did just arrive and they should be settling down soon, but they would walk by in a bit to make sure they do. The gentleman was really friendly with her and they did settle down. Breakfast was decent, we appreciated the organic tea options the most. Our suggestions to hotel management and staff, please update the site information for the on site restaurant. Ensure towels are always changed even if appeared to be unused and if checking in a family next to other hotel guests at midnight is unavoidable, tell the incoming guests when quiet time started. If possible, I wouldn't place incoming guests at that time directly next to guests that checked in already and are only there for one night. We understand the hotel may have been booked up and this was unavoidable. All in all, we would stay again when in town and felt it was a fair price for the amenities in the hotel.
This place was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in Utah. The outdoor pool is heated so even at 32°outside my kids were still able to go swimming. The breakfast has a nice variety to choose from. Will most definitely stay again.
I really like this hotel. Super clean and quiet. The staff here is do friendly and very quick to help when needed. I have stayed here several times this year. Consistently impressed with the comfort of this one. Updating this post to reiterate how amazing the staff is here.
The staff were very friendly and would recommend this hotel for those who want to stay close to downtown, but just a bit away from the action. I think it was about 15 min from downtown. Free parking was a bonus and the hot tub stays open till 10pm. Free breakfast had a lot of options- we had bacon, eggs, French toast, cereals, bagels, and bread. Our room was upgraded which was such a pleasant surprise- so thank you Hyatt! Will stay here again if we are ever in the area.
We had a great room. It was a two-room suite with a full kitchen and utilities. The staff was very friendly and love the 2:00 p.m. late checkout option!
WOW! The Hyatt House is amazing for lots of reasons. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check in was smooth and friendly, and we immediately noticed how clean and beautifully maintained the hotel was. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had every comfort we could ask for. Peaceful and quiet at night. Breakfast was a treat, plenty of delicious options. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room furnishings are a bit dated, which makes it impossible to charge devices unless you pack outlet cubes and cords as none of the furnishings have USB/USB-C ports. Additionally this the ONLY Hyatt I have EVER stayed at, and I have stayed in a LOT, that doesn’t have ANY recycling at all. Not in the rooms or lobby. I thought it was odd? (We took our recycling to Target) The staff is very nice, the breakfast was hot, clean and well stocked. They have a nice gym and pool area and a BBQ thing. Just needs some new lamps etc that have USB/USB-C plugs and recycling at it would have been another perfect stay with Hyatt.
Really nice extended stay room. Felt like something in between a 1br apt. and a studio. The only drawback is the swivelling TV. If you have 3 guests, it's difficult for everyone to watch at the same time. There should be a TV for each space, but with the open air design, this wouldn't be possible anyway. The king bed is next level comfortable. The sleeper couch pull-out isn't comfortable. Ideal for 2, not so much for 3.
