Guests consistently praise the professional staff and well-maintained facilities, with specific appreciation for the excellent breakfast service and room amenities like spacious kitchens and comfortable beds.
We just finished a 4 night stay at the Residence Inn Sandy. It was a wonderful experience, with delicious breakfast and coffee each morning, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. The ladies that set up breakfast were attentive, made perfect scrambled eggs, and had pride for their work. Our room had a full-size closet, plenty of drawer space for clothes and everything you would need to cook in the kitchen. Thank you for a great stay!
We stayed at this hotel for five nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent and close to everything, and the mountain views are absolutely stunning. The staff truly knows how to treat guests. I have top tier lifetime status with Marriott, and they made sure to recognize that throughout our stay. I had requested a room upgrade with mountain views, and they arranged it even before we arrived. We received a thoughtful welcome gift, and the front desk team was always ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless, the entire property was very well maintained, and the breakfast offered a good selection of items. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with great staff, beautiful views, and easy access to all major attractions and shops
Wow ? Front desk was very accommodating and so very nice. I had an issue with one very rude employee but she assured me she would take care of it. Thank you ? Breakfast was sooo good! I didn’t get the chance to hit the tub or the pool maybe next time ;)
I came over here (from ORL) for training and stayed here for a month. The kitchen staff? AMAZING! Every morning, you get a great selection, them waking up at 3-4 to get our breakfast out by 5/6. The front desk night shift, Emily #7 and Sandra ! LOVE THEMMMMM! The cutest and kindest and most informative duo. Wilma in the afternoon is so kind and sweet. Like my Grammy away from home ? love this place and their staff ?
Perfect for me. I love the personal, genuine service and smiles. The kitchenette and working desk is a major plus in my opinion. And proximity to the office for me, being an out of town visitor, was wonderful. Oh. I also like that there are different entrances from the street level so getting to your room is not a major schlepp via the entire hotel.
Avoid if you are Marriott Elite!!! As a lifetime Marriott Titanium member, this hotel disappointed. I was transferring from another Marriott down the street but they would not let me check in until 1pm. They had plenty of rooms available (I asked) but the excuse she gave was that they had to check 60 guests out earlier and were catching up and could not help me for another hour or so. I decided not to challenge the front desk agent but I will make a point not to come back to this hotel because there are several other Marriott options in walking distance that do acknowledge and recognize elite members.
Disappointment comes in all shapes and sizes but this is a first for Marriott. At arrival things looks great as they usually do. First glance at the room was great. When arriving it was 75? in degrre which I've had happen at other hotels. I didn't think anything if it. As I was leaving for the game I turned the cool air on so it would be cooler by the time I came back. Upon further inspection of the room, it was noticed that the gram of the window was falling apart so when you open the window it pulls away from the glass. In addition, the screen had a huge gap allowing plenty of space for large bugs to come in. When I arrived back at my room it was still 75? I called the front desk and she said that others were having the same problem and she would send the maintenance guy. 20 or so minutes goes buy and the maintenance guy arrived. He pryed open the door to the AC with a Phillips (not sure why the maintenance guy wouldn't have a key) and proceeds to do a few things. After roughly 10 minutes he goes out and comes in with a box fan. This was his fix. The lowest it got was 73°. 11:30 @ night this was the best they could do.
I’ve stayed at this location multiple times. I had an uncomfortable experience. I had an Marriott employee entering my room unannounced after I checked in and occupied the room. The Marriott employee entered my room, thinking that it was not occupied or reserved. Sandra, the hotel manager told me that it was the time of the year that they clean the windows and replace the window screens. I would recommend just being alert, vigilant, and aware especially if you are a single female traveling by yourself. Definitely unnerving to have someone enter your room even if it’s a hotel employee.
Definitely recommend! Great place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Mini suite with comfortable beds, better than average mattress on hide-a-bed couch. Full kitchen with dishes, dishwasher, etc. nice little dining area. Comfortable for 5 people. Location worked well for us who came from out of state for national archery competition. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice indoor pool and spa, excellent for actually swimming. Basketball court outdoors. Good price.
Have stayed here many times, finally getting around to reviewing the establishment. The staff is beyond good, veritable rock stars. The property is pristine, cleaned and maintained to a level that is above anyone’s expectations. Plenty of parking and very convenient, right off of I-15. Plenty of dining and shopping options near by.
