The Hilton Garden Inn - Ogden consistently receives positive feedback, particularly highlighting exceptional service and a convenient downtown location. Guests rave about friendly staff members like Frank, Gabby, and Lexy, who go above and beyond to assist with parking, inquiries, and overall guest satisfaction. While some rooms benefit from recent updates, a few concerns regarding noise levels and outdated amenities have been raised.
My husband and I had a wonderful surprise when we opened the door to our room. It was our 57th wedding anniversary and our room was decorated with real red rose petals! We had delicious treats on the bed with towels folded like roses. This staff is amazing. Abby checked us in. She's efficient and so friendly and kind. Gabby absolutely took care of everything we needed. Definitely book here. You will be happy you did.
Our stomachs guided our booking process before common sense did as I booked this Hilton Garden Inn excitedly before checking the parking situation (we LOVE Hilton Garden Breakfasts). The moment reason came over me on the drive, I called in a panic to see if our setup could even be accommodated in downtown Ogden, knowing it was my mistake for not checking prior to booking. Leo and Frank were exceptional! I called to confirm that we were coming in as a late checkin and towing a boat trailer. Over the phone, Leo was incredibly friendly and personable. She reassured us that the one space that would fit us was available and ready for us. She went out of her way to email us photos of where we can park to set our minds at ease on our long travel day and reassure us our setup would fit. Before even meeting her, Leo went above and beyond to make us feel heard, reassured, and valued as guests. Upon arrival, Frank had taken over at the front desk and was equally wonderful to work with. He even offered to come out and personally show us where to park. He never made us feel like we were a bother, and he genuinely seemed happy to see us come in and guided my husband to the correct parking out front. His charisma and personality were so welcoming, kind, friendly, and joyous from the moment we called to confirm our arrival and followed through in person through parking and check-in. We stay in A LOT of Hilton properties, we love Hilton. In all of our time as Hilton Gold members, previous Diamond members when work had us on the road for 7 months straight pre-covid, and even as HGV owners, this stay notably had the best customer service we have experienced, start to finish. And we have had some pretty stellar experiences with Hilton across the nation-the team in Ogden Hilton Garden Inn is truly exceptional!
Love ?? love ?? love staying here for the past weekend!! The parking lot was secured and lit up. The rooms were clean and in location) of downtown Ogden. Especially the parking and the security, so when you drove up to the parking lot, the lights went on for you automatically, and it wasn’t far apart from there to the hotel entrance! I plan on coming back soon and staying in this place thank you so much. Hilton made my stay safe ??????
This facility met the usual good standards of Hilton properties. Our reception was exceptionally warm, welcoming and friendly. The hotel is excellently located in the downtown area, with interesting restaurants nearby. Be sure to enter the address properly in the GPS since it sounds like we were not the only ones to have been led astray. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star for the rooms were the pillows that needed replacing.
Truly the friendliest staff. Both Frank and Lily were kind, welcoming, and very helpful. I was surprised how much their interactions made a difference, but it made the hotel stay more fun and more memorable because of their friendliness. The room was clean and comfortable, the lobby was clean and inviting. A safe and walkable area, and parking was simple and straightforward. Would stay again!
The hotel is clean and nice the front desk lady at check in was super helpful and kind. The young man who was incharge of cleaning our room as we got there did a great job and the attention to details with towels didnt go unnoticed. All in all everything was great, only complaint was the street is SUPER loud but that is out your control but wish maybe you could implement some noise canceling curtains or something.
This hotel has weird parking, but the stay was fine. However, my issue is they issued me an incorrect invoice and then I was charged twice on my card. First charge was the amount of the invoice and the second charge was not in the invoice. When I called the hotel to inquire about it, there was only one lady working at the desk and she have me the run around and kept me waiting for over 30 minutes to attend to other clients and I finally was unable to resolve it. I have filed a dispute to the transaction with my credit card. Next time I am in that area, I will consider finding another play to stay.
Hotel itself is fine. Rooms are decent, and the restaurant is actually quite good. The biggest detractor is the road noise off Washington Ave. With a quick internet search, I found this issue of street racing and loud exhausts has been going on since 2017. The city of Ogden won’t or can’t do anything to deal with it. So if you have a room facing this street, it will be a long and restless night.
Usually I book in advance but I was unexpectedly in Ogden for a night so I walked in off the street. I was welcomed by Frank Gerrard (I think) and he was extraordinary! Friendly and helpful doesn't quite cover it. Generous and interested. I was impressed. And I watched him greet another set of guests (the parents of a basketball player from out of town) - and he treated them the same way. I love great service.
Our Valentine’s dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant was truly unforgettable. Chef Josh and his culinary team curated an exceptional Valentine’s feast that exceeded every expectation. The Miso short ribs were absolutely phenomenal — tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish was beautifully presented and clearly crafted with passion and care. You can truly feel the heart behind the food. It was hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!
