If you want to have the a great experience with a ski vacation like the old days. Then be sure to check out this place before it's gone. This original hotel is very nostalgic and has the best atmosphere for meeting other skiers alike. Don't think twice about going somewhere else before this place no longer exists.

The location is awesome - you can walk to the Wildcat lift or take the lodge shuttle to Albion Base where the ski school is. The lodge shuttle is very reliable compared to our experiences in other ski resorts. We never had to wait for more than 5 minutes and it took only 2-3 minutes from Albion back to the lodge. The room booking comes with two storage lockers where we could store our skis. We got so much more time on the slopes because of these logistic advantages. There are two hot tubs which are actually hot, not just warm. The heated pool is popular with kids which are great for families. Meals are included in the booking. The food is good, but note we are not picky eaters. The convenience of not having to think about where to get food is worth it for us. This lodge has a lot of history and attracts interesting people who are open minded and social. We love the vibe. All staff members are friendly and welcoming. This is a special place unlike any other.

Sitting at the epicenter of ski culture, The Peruvian is singular! Rich in atmosphere and steeped in history, we treasure this place. After years of visiting as a ski bum, I'm so grateful to have gotten to share this experience with my 9-year-old son. Thank you for keeping it real.

It's always a special experience to stay at the Peruvian. The service, the food and the accomodations are top notch and provide a warm and friendly atmosphere. In addition, the close proximity to world class skiing is also a plus. I have been coming here for 25 years and can recommend the Peruvian without hesitation!

If the Peruvian never changes, our family will be coming back forever. Relaxing, comfortable place to chill when not on slopes. It is the opposite of overdone, clinical feeling luxury accommodation. Very nice to see many of the same staff faces year after year. This was our 3rd visit in 6 years.

I recently had the chance to second shoot a wedding at the Alta Peruvian Lodge, and it was stunning. The mountain views and cozy lodge atmosphere created an unforgettable setting. The natural beauty of the surroundings made every shot feel timeless, with perfect light and breathtaking backdrops all day long. This was our first time to Utah. We booked Alta Peruvian based on the small and intimate feel. The European style lodge is so cute and everyone was nice and welcoming. Our room had the most beautiful views (#76)! We watched the moon rise over the mountains each night. The bar was chill with games and skiers hanging after a long day. The hot tub was busy but we got in and met many people. Grab your robe, a cocktail, and enjoy! You can lounge by the fire in the main area or downstairs in the large tv room. We liked the all-inclusive meal option where breakfast, lunch, and dinner was apart of the package. It’s a family style dining which allows you to meet new people. We rented ski equipment and the locker was included. You walk right out and make your way to Alta ski area. The shuttle will take you anywhere around the area and we never had to wait long. Our driver James was great! We will be back!
