The bike trails at Sundance are totally underwhelming. They charge $70 for a day pass (which is more than other better biking resorts). The trails themselves are ungroomed and poorly marked. There are no jump lines or even berms, and most trails simply feel like biking on a converted hiking trail. We frequently found ourselves wondering whether we were biking up a trail or down one and ran into multiple other "lost" bikers. It was quite common for a trail to just spit you out on a road that you then would follow down to the base. If they are going to charge this much, they should provide a better biking experience. Go to Woodward, Deer Valley, Jackson Hole, Targhee, or Big Sky for a better experience.

My stay at Sundance was everything I wanted! I need to give a shout out to Liz at the front desk for her professional service and warm attitude. Liz was able to quickly help me with a room issue and made my stay much more enjoyable. The room was very cozy/clean, the pool was very relaxing, and the food was excellent.. Thank you Liz & Sundance Resort!

Incredible stay here for our daughter’s wedding. The staff is pleasant, very helpful and just fun to be around. We had a spectrum of needs - babies, elderly, wheelchairs to teenagers and young professionals - everyone found their place and activities. The resort is small enough that you run into friends but also offers a variety of intentional private areas for more intimate conversation. Every meal was well prepared and delicious. We will be back!

I loved it when the employees wore the standard "sundance" tee that we all love and know. They are easy to spot and looks very handsome. I loved them so much I bought all my grandkids one. Now they have changed and it's hard to recognize employees when needing direction. Is this part of the new ownership? The black is so depression and sloppy. The color sundance tees made for such a nice look and great marketing buy one.

My wife and I had an experience at Sundance that we will never forget, and it was entirely because of the incredible staff at the Bearclaw Cabin. We had hiked to the top of the mountain and planned to ride the lift back down, but a lightning storm suddenly rolled in and the lift was shut down for safety reasons. We were preparing ourselves to hike back down in the storm when the Bearclaw staff stepped in with unbelievable kindness and generosity. Rachel, Connor, Ellie, Chris, Dolce, and Alejandra were just about to head down the mountain in their side-by-side, and instead of leaving, they offered their spots to my wife and me so we could safely get down the mountain out of the storm. They stayed behind and waited while we were taken down in their place. That level of selflessness, care, and customer service is incredibly rare. These weren’t people simply doing a job, they were genuinely thoughtful human beings looking out for others. Their kindness turned what could have been a stressful and dangerous situation into something we’ll always remember with gratitude. Thank you to Rachel, Connor, Ellie, Chris, Dolce, and Alejandra for going above and beyond and offering us a 5 star experience that will never be forgotten! Sundance is lucky to have people like you representing the resort.

Beautiful log cabin style resort newly finished in February after 4 years of building! Love the stream that meanders between the hotel buildings. The beautiful mountain as backdrop is classic. As before, the ski lift is just out your door. We ate there for a business dinner and the food was good!! This place is suitable for a business conference. The crew are friendly. The inside of the hotel lobby is beautifully thoughtfully decorated.

I absolutely adored staying here in the Sundance resort. The atmosphere and surroundings are breathtaking. I’ve never felt more relaxed at a resort before. The care from the staff is unmatched. Everyone we met were very kind and accommodating. Travis and Rob were kind enough to drive us back to our cabin whenever they were available. Jere was excellent at showing us around the resort and helping us with our bags. I would highly recommend going to the Foundry for dinner and going to the springs after to enjoy a nice soak in the pools.

Our stay at The Inn at Sundance was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the rooms felt warm, fresh, and thoughtfully designed — every detail reflected comfort and understated luxury. You can feel the craftsmanship and care everywhere. We had incredible meals at Foundry Grill, and the complimentary continental breakfast was the perfect way to start slow mountain mornings. And the highlight? Relaxing at The Springs at Sundance — morning and night. Pure peace. Whether you're skiing or simply escaping to the mountains, this is a place you don’t want to miss. We’ll absolutely be back.

My wife and I recently stayed two nights at the new Sundance Inn, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Every member of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. After checking in, we were given a quick tour of the facility. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with the added touch of a mountain stream right next to our patio. We had dinner at both the Tree Room and Foundry Grill, and both were excellent. If you’ve never had the Tree Room Pepper Steak, try it, it’s one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! One of our favorite spots was the “Living Room” at the Inn. The views were truly jaw-dropping, and the complimentary offerings were a great touch, especially the creamy hot chocolate with marshmallows browned right at our table. We also loved the nostalgic photos and memorabilia of Robert Redford and early Sundance throughout the Inn. Waking up next to the beautiful mountains and ski hill was something special. This was our first stay at the Inn, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Sundance is a special place. Highly recommend!

Incredible place, staff and activities. We really enjoyed our stay at the new lodge. The rooms are well appointed, the design and art is a great touch and the “living room” is a fun and easily accessible getaway. We also created some really fun necklaces and bracelets during the silver class. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!
